E-Commerce Provider Pierpoint-Martin Sponsors Children's Bureau 13th Annual Mighty Rubber Ducky Derby

 

SANTA ANA, Calif.--Sep. 17, 2004--Technology solutions and e-commerce provider Pierpoint-Martin announced today its sponsorship of the 13th Annual Mighty Rubber Ducky Derby.

 

This is the third year that Pierpoint-Martin has been a sponsor of the event which is put on by Children’s Bureau of Southern California to raise money to fight child abuse.  This year’s event will take place at the Wild River Water Park in Irvine, California on October 8th.

 

As part of its sponsorship, Pierpoint-Martin has contributed its expertise in e-commerce and web design to assist with the marketing of the event.  In 2004, Pierpoint-Martin designed the initial Mighty Rubber Ducky Derby web site.  This year, Pierpoint-Martin has enhanced the site with the addition of online registration capability for the new Just Ducky Car Show.

Visitors to the web site can purchase any combination of ducks and reception passes as well as make donations to the Children's Bureau. And, with Pierpoint-Martin's acclaimed web-based backoffice interface, Children's Bureau staff can print and download orders and donations quickly and easily.
